Jaecoo J7 Overview
Meet the J7, a luxurious crossover SUV that can tackle the rough stuff and cruise urban settings in style. Built with Jaecoo’s design philosophy "From Classic, Beyond Classic", the exterior of the J7 exudes a combination of toughness and elegance.
Power comes from a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque. This small yet mighty engine has been put through an extensive, 16,000 km long test by Jaecoo to ensure it can stand up to the worst conditions a 4x4 crossover can be put through.
Inside, the J7 sports a modern and luxurious interior. Leather and metallic trim adorn the interior to create a cozy and upmarket vibe while onboard tech like its massive touchscreen infotainment display and digital instrument cluster will keep you entertained with ease during long journeys.
Luxurious and competent on and off the road? The Jaecoo J7 may be a crossover that can fit both roles well.

The Jaecoo J7 made its first appearance in the Philippine market during the 2024 Manila International Auto Show. Alongside the J8, it stands as one of the initial vehicles introduced to the Philippine market with the launch of the Jaecoo brand in the country.
Prices for both the J7 and J8 are still pending announcement.

Beneath its sleek exterior, the Jaecoo J7 houses a robust gasoline engine that truly impresses. Sporting a small yet formidable 1.6-liter turbocharged direct-injected engine, this powerhouse generates a remarkable 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque. Coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the J7 ensures smooth and responsive gear shifts.
Like the J8, the J7 is built on top of Chery’s T1X platform. The crossover is supported by a MacPherson strut suspension at the front and a multi-link rear suspension set up at the rear. Stopping power comes from a set of disc brakes on all four corners, housed inside a set of 19-inch alloy wheels.
