Jaecoo J8 2024

The Jaecoo J8 made its debut in the Philippine market at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show. The J8 is one of two inaugural vehicles offered for the Philippine market with the launch of Jaecoo as a brand in the country.

Prices for both the J8 and J7 have yet to be announced.

Under the hood, the Jaecoo J8 packs a punch with its powerful gasoline engine. The J8’s formidable 2.0-liter turbocharged direct-injected gasoline engine, is capable of delivering an impressive 245 hp and 385 Nm of torque. This engine is then paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, promising seamless and responsive shifting for an engaging driving experience and impressive fuel efficiency.

Enhancing its capabilities further, the J8 is equipped with an advanced all-road drive intelligent system, featuring a unique vectorial four-wheel drive control system. This innovative technology enables real-time rear-wheel torque distribution, ranging from zero to 100 percent, with dynamic adjustments based on prevailing road conditions.

In addition to its exceptional drivetrain, the Jaecoo J8 offers versatility through seven driving modes, tailored to various terrains including sand, mud, and snow. Further augmenting its safety and performance, the vehicle incorporates an intelligent wire-controlled braking system, an electronic steering system, and precise engine and transmission management.

At first glance, the Jaecoo J8 commands attention with its striking presence and commanding stance. The J8’s silhouette is boxy like its stablemate the J7. Paired with the wide grille up front, the J8 can definitely make its presence felt without any effort. From the signature grille adorned with the Jaecoo emblem to the dynamic LED headlights and the wrap-around LED taillights at the back, every aspect of the exterior design reflects Jaecoo’s take on the word “Luxury.”.
