The Maxus V80 is the brand’s entry to the tightly-contested commercial vehicle segment in the Philippines. Available in both passenger- and cargo-hauling configurations, the V80 is a van that can be both a workhorse for your businesses or a family vehicle.
Exterior-wise, the Maxus V80 follows the configuration of commercial vans but with a bit of a nose in contrast to the usual flat-nose styling of Japanese vans. It features a sliding cabin door while the rear one is a dual-swing out door for maximum cargo-loading.
Inside, the V80 features fabric upholstery and an 8-way driver seat adjustment. The V80 Comfort variant has 10 reclinable seats at the back, with a separate air conditioning system and room lamps. For easier ingress and egress, an electronic step board is available in the Comfort variant. The V80 Flex, on the other hand, features a spacious rear cabin for maximum cargo-hauling tasks. Lastly, the V80 Transport features an 18-seat capacity, making it perfect for people transport businesses.
Powering the V80 is a 2.5-liter turbo CRDi diesel engine that produces 134 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque. It’s then sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Safety features include driver and front passenger airbags, three-point seatbelts for the front occupants, two-point seatbelts for the rear passengers, reverse sensors, and ABS with EBD.
The Maxus V80 is available in these colors: Silver, Gray, White, and Brown (Comfort variant only).
