The EC36 is based on a platform shared with the C36 passenger van. The platform is maximized for electric powertrains, allowing for the usage of a 60kW motor and a 41.86kWh lithium-ion battery. The motor's output is directed to the front wheels, with a balance of power and efficiency with a torque rating of 200 Nm and a top speed of 100 km/h. The battery system is made for urban and inter-city commutes, providing a range of up to 300 km on a full charge.
The suspension setup of the EC36 consists of MacPherson struts at the front and leaf springs at the rear, which is typical for commercial vehicles for both durability and cost-effectiveness. Exterior
The EC36 maintains the traditional boxy shape of vans that are made to maximize interior space.
