Launch
The Tesla Model 3 was unveiled in March 2016, with deliveries starting in mid-2017. It has since undergone numerous updates, with the latest refresh in 2023 featuring design tweaks, improved materials, and enhanced tech. It made its way to the Philippines through Tesla’s official sales network in the local market, with its showroom located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila.
Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
Built on Tesla’s scalable EV platform, the Model 3 features a low center of gravity thanks to its underfloor battery pack. Powertrain options include single-motor RWD or dual-motor AWD, delivering 283–513 horsepower depending on the variant. Its range varies between 491–629 km (WLTP), and all models support fast charging via Tesla’s Supercharger network.
Technology Features
The Model 3 is packed with Tesla’s signature tech, including a 15-inch central touchscreen that controls nearly all vehicle functions, over-the-air software updates, and optional Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability. Standard features include navigation, a premium sound system, and advanced climate controls.
Exterior
The Model 3 boasts a minimalist, aerodynamic design with flush door handles and sleek lines. The refreshed 2023 model adds slimmer LED headlights, redesigned bumpers, and new wheel options for a more modern and refined look.
Interior
The cabin is ultra-minimalist, featuring a clean dashboard with no visible buttons. A large touchscreen serves as the command center, complemented by high-quality materials and optional ventilated seats. Ample legroom, a panoramic glass roof, and split-folding rear seats enhance comfort and practicality.

The Model 3 is one of the safest vehicles on the road, with a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. It comes with standard Tesla Autopilot, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assistance. Its rigid chassis and multiple airbags provide exceptional crash protection.
