Voyah Dreamer 2024

The debut of the Voyah Dreamer took place at the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, first as a near-production prototype MPV with a 2+2+3 seating configuration. Like its stablemates in its home market, the Dreamer is built on Dongfeng’s Electric Smart Secure Architecture (ESSA).

Here in the Philippines, the Dreamer entered the Philippines through Voltion Motors Philippines in 2024. The Dreamer is the first car on the Voyah brand to enter the Philippine market.

The Voyah Dreamer is a seven-seater, five-door, electric MPV built on the Dongfeng Electric Smart Secure Architecture (ESSA). Being an EV, the  Dreamer comes with a 108.7 kWh battery pack and features a dual electric motor configuration that generates 435 hp and delivers 620 Nm of torque to all four wheels. According to Voyah, the Dreamer’s ternary lithium battery is capable of providing a driving range of 605 km.

In terms of performance, the Voyah Dreamer can reach 100 km/h from a dead stop in just 5.9 seconds, and reach a top speed of 200 km/h, impressive considering the Dreamer has a weight of 2,625 kg. Supporting all this weight is the Dreamerer’s air suspension which has variable suspension adjustment.

Starting with comfort features, the Voyah Dreamer is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD touchscreen complete with a 10-speaker sound system. The instrument cluster is fully digital and is integrated with the dashboard. The expansive screen extends all the way to the front passenger side. Other amenities include a built-in refrigerator, keyless entry, and a power tailgate. 

As for safety systems, the Voyah Dreamer is equipped with ABS, an electronic stability program, an electronic control brake assist system, active brake assistance, lane keep assist, and a front collision warning system.

Starting at the front, the Voyah Dreamer's distinctive front bumper showcases a prominent grille, which, in its role as an electric vehicle (EV), is designed to optimize airflow rather than for cooling purposes. The grille boasts vertical slats and a chrome outline, with the prominent Voyah badge positioned centrally just below the hood. Chrome strips along the windows and at the bottom of the doors enhance the sleek appearance of the Voyah on the sides. This electric MPV rides on imposing 20-inch turbine-styled wheels, adding both height and a distinctive aesthetic to its overall look.

At the back, the Dreamer’s rear tailgate, though not as loud as the front still manages to continue the opulent look of the entire MPV. Sleek LED taillights flank the edges while the Voyah name is emblazoned in the center. Two vertical reflector strips are positioned at the lower edge of the vehicle, while at the bottom end of the bumper is a black-colored trim.

Inside, the Voyah Dreamer’s interior is modern and futuristic with touches of technology in areas that make the interior exciting to look at and interact with. The entire interior from the first row up to the third row is wrapped in leather, depending on the chosen interior color, the leather interior has two distinct colors with highlights placed in strategic areas. 

The second-row passengers are treated to captain’s chairs with armrests while the third row has bench seating with ample legroom for passengers to remain comfortable seated during long journeys. Up top, the EV MPV is equipped with a sunroof to allow natural light to flood the expansive interior.
