Changan has been making waves these past two years with a strong lineup featuring great pricing, stylish designs, and tech-laden vehicles. This time, Changan is looking to take things a notch further by releasing two crossovers that can fight in the premium segment.
The Uni-T and Uni-K were rolled out last December, but this is the first time that they will be making a public appearance for all to see.

Setting the two crossovers apart from the CS lineup of bang-for-buck crossovers, the Uni line is Changan’s lineup of premium offerings that boasts a different design philosophy paired with even more technology and features.

The futuristic exterior design of the Uni-T and Uni-K feature Changan’s Vision V design language which the brand describes as “straight out of a sci-fi film” and “like a spaceship on wheels.” True enough, both crossovers show off sleek lines that flow through the whole body with flushed door handles, and paired with the LED headlamps and daytime running lights, make for a truly unique and futuristic look found in concept vehicles and design studies.
The design isn’t all for show either, as a matter of fact, the roof-mounted spoilers of the Uni-T and Uni-K are designed to help with high-speed stability for added safety and assurance.

In the technology and interior side, it is very evident that Changan has made a step forward in materials, features, and trimmings, featuring the best technologies of the brand. The Uni-K presents an electric tailgate with an induction sensor for easy hands-free operation. Both crossovers also get a great sound system in the form of a six-speaker Sony setup for the Uni-T and a 12-speaker Sony sound system for the Uni-K. Both vehicles also get voice commands, and the Uni-K boasts a quadruple-screen infotainment setup that gives you various information and commands for the vehicle.
Powertrain also takes a step up for both crossovers, with the Uni-T getting an uprated version of the 1.5-liter turbo that now makes 177 hp and 300 Nm of torque, which is more than the CS line of crossovers. The Uni-K on the other hand gets a 2.0-liter turbo that makes a healthy 228 hp mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission along with an all-wheel drive system in which drivers can change drivetrain settings on the fly.
The Changan Uni-T and Uni-K are now available for sale at a price of P1,679,000, and P2,719,000 respectively.
