Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is continuing its efforts to provide more eco-friendly options to Filipino customers by introducing the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variant of its new crossover SUV, the All-New Yaris Cross. This move is in line with the company's commitment to expanding electrified vehicle options and promoting sustainable mobility solutions in the Philippines.
The All-New Yaris Cross is expected to be TMP's most well-rounded electrified vehicle yet, offering practicality and accessibility to customers seeking a greener transportation option that suits their needs, interests, and lifestyle. With this new model, TMP aims to further accelerate the ongoing trend of electrified mobility in the country.
According to Danny Cruz, TMP's First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations, the introduction of the HEV variant of the All-New Yaris Cross adds to their diverse lineup of electrified vehicles, making it easier for customers to embrace high-quality and dependable electrified mobility technology.
TMP's commitment to carbon neutrality in the mobility sector is reflected in its "multiple pathway approach," which includes the expansion of electrified vehicle offerings. By providing more hybrid and electric vehicles, TMP aims to reduce the environmental impact of its operations and contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
To unveil the All-New Yaris Cross, TMP has planned a public debut event on August 4, 2023, at the Amphitheater of Bonifacio High Street in Taguig's Bonifacio Global City. The event will be open to everyone interested in experiencing Toyota's wide range of HEVs, which includes popular models such as Camry, Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, RAV4, and the recently launched Zenix HEV. Additionally, the vehicle will be unveiled simultaneously in all Toyota dealerships across the nation.
The All-New Yaris Cross comes in two variants: the G gas variant, priced at PHP 1,199,000.00, and the Hybrid variant, priced at PHP 1,598,000.00.
TMP's move to introduce the All-New Yaris Cross with a Hybrid Electric Vehicle option marks a significant step towards a greener and more sustainable future for mobility in the Philippines. By providing a diverse range of electrified vehicles, TMP is making it easier and more appealing for customers to embrace environmentally friendly transportation options. As the company continues its commitment to carbon neutrality, Filipino customers can look forward to more eco-friendly innovations and initiatives from Toyota Motor Philippines in the future.
