The B30e enters the SUV segment serving as one of BAIC’s more accessible models in its lineup. Blending rugged design with an electrified powertrain, the B30e features a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with electric motors—one for the 2WD variant and two for the 4WD variant.
This setup, known as the Smart Hybrid System, enables the BAIC B30e Dune 2WD to deliver 324 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the more robust B30e Dune 4WD produces an impressive 397 PS and 685 Nm of torque. Power is managed through a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT), allowing the B30e Dune to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. An impressive feat considering the B30e has the capability to go off-road.

Launch
The B30e officially entered the market on September 19, 2024. BAIC introduced two variants of the B30e in the lineup, the single-motor B30e 2WD and the dual-motor B30e 4WD. The B30e is available at a suggested retail price of P1.588,000 for the 2WD variant and P1.888,000 million for the 4WD variant.
Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
The B30e is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, supported by electric motors—one for the 2WD model and two for the 4WD. This system, called the Smart Hybrid System, enables the BAIC B30e Dune 2WD to produce 324 hp and 550 Nm of torque, while the more powerful B30e Dune 4WD delivers an impressive 397 hp and 685 Nm of torque. Enhancing its capabilities, the B30e 4WD features a Real-Time Intelligent 4WD system with front and rear electric motors, offering seven driving modes in its All-Terrain System: Comfort, Sport, Economy, Snow, Sand, Muddy Road, and Wading. With a standard ground clearance of 215mm, the B30e Dune is ready to easily handle rough terrain or deep water whether it’s a 4WD or 2WD.
Technology Features
Tech features inside the BAIC B30e start with the expansive 14.6-inch infotainment screen that is complemented by the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Convenience features include a smart power tailgate, power-adjustable front seats, rain-sensing wipers, a 360-degree camera system, and parking sensors.
For added peace of mind, it features advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) rated at Level 2. This includes smart driving technologies such as intelligent cruise control, automatic high beam control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-assist and lane-change assist systems, emergency lane-keep assist, front and rear collision warnings, autonomous emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Exterior
The exterior of the BAIC B30e showcases a bold and rugged design. It features a boxy and robust suv profile with strong lines, giving it a commanding road presence. The front fascia is highlighted by a wide grille with the BAIC logo, flanked by modern, squared-off LED headlights with distinctive DRL (Daytime Running Light) patterns, adding a futuristic touch. The front bumper is solid, with integrated fog lights that convey its off-roading capability.
The vehicle's contrasting black accents on the roof, mirrors, and wheel arches, add to its adventurous and stylish appeal. The blacked-out alloy wheels give the crossover a sporty and aggressive look. Roof rails on top suggest practical off-road and adventure-ready functionality, and the raised ground clearance emphasizes its ability to tackle uneven terrains. Interior
The interior of the BAIC B30e exudes a modern and minimalistic design, centered around advanced technology and comfort. The dashboard features a sleek layout with clean lines and a high-tech vibe. A large, centrally mounted infotainment touchscreen dominates the center console, providing access to various vehicle functions and entertainment options. Below the screen, slim air vents are neatly integrated into the dash, maintaining a streamlined look.
The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and equipped with multiple controls, giving the driver easy access to key features without distraction. This includes a suite of intelligent driver aids such as adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping and lane-change assist, emergency lane-keep assist, front and rear collision warnings, autonomous emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic alert, providing advanced safety and convenience on the road.
Other safety features include ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), and Brake Assist for improved braking performance. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System alerts you to any issues with tire inflation, and the Anti-Theft System with Immobilizer helps protect against unauthorized access. For added visibility and safety, the 360-degree Camera offers a complete view around the vehicle.
ISOFIX child seat anchors ensure secure installation of child seats, and the Front and Rear Parking Sensors (four each) aid in maneuvering and parking. The Seatbelt Reminder helps ensure that all occupants are properly secured, and Front, Side, and Curtain Airbags provide extensive protection in the event of a collision.
