Built on BMW’s FAAR platform, the iX1 eDrive20 features a single-motor front-wheel-drive system producing 201 hp and 247Nm of torque. This setup enables the vehicle to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in approximately 8.6 seconds. A high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 64.7 kWh provides an estimated range of up to 475 km (WLTP), making it suitable for both city commutes and longer journeys. DC fast charging allows for a 10 to 80 percent recharge in around 29 minutes, ensuring convenience on the go.

The iX1 comes equipped with BMW’s latest iDrive 8.5 infotainment system, displayed on a curved 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensure seamless smartphone integration, while BMW’s Intelligent Personal Assistant allows for voice-activated controls. Additional tech features include real-time navigation with EV route planning, over-the-air software updates, and a high-quality Harman Kardon sound system.
