Ford Bronco Overview
The Ford Bronco is an iconic SUV that spans five generations starting 1966 all the way to today. Since its inception, the Bronco has gained immense popularity as a rugged and capable off-road vehicle, ideal for outdoor adventures and exploration.
In 2021, the sixth-generation Bronco we know today came after a 25-year hiatus of the nameplate. Though the Bronco name took a break, the formula of rugged looks, off-road capability, and simplicity still remains.
Here in the Philippines, the Ford Bronco is offered in the Outer Banks trim level with Ford’s Sasquatch Package. This variant comes with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 gasoline engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain puts out 330 hp and 550 Nm of torque. In addition, thanks to chunky, 35-inch off-road tires and a high-performance off-road suspension kit, the Bronco Outer Banks with Sasquatch Package offers 292 mm of ground clearance and a water-wading depth of 85 cm.

The heart of the Bronco is a 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine. This engine is known for its combination of power and efficiency. With a displacement of 2.7 liters, it delivers 330 hp and 550 Nm of torque, ample power to get Ford’s off-roader up to speed and conquer trails.
Power is sent to the wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, it features selectable drive modes to optimize performance for different terrain types thanks to its advanced 4x4 system.
The suspension components have also been beefed up to ensure optimal off-road performance. Ford has equipped the Bronco with what they call a High-Performance, Off-Road, Stability Suspension (HOSS) System. This system is then paired with Position-Sensitive shock absorbers from Bilstein.
Underneath, unique to the Sasquatch Package are chunky, 35-inch tires wrapping 17-inch beadlock wheels that will allow drivers to safely drive with low-pressure tires on the trail without fear of de-beading their tires.
