Kaicene Star Truck 2025

The commercial vehicle was launched alongside the Changan Honor S small MPV. The commercial vehicle marked te brand's entry into the commercial vehicle space, and while diminutive in size, the Star Truck could be a viable solution for several micro-businesses in the country. 

The 1.2L engine produces 95 hp with 119 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which feeds the power to the rear wheels. The Star Truck is rated to be Euro 4 compliant and also has a fuel capacity of 40 liters. 

On the ground, the Changan rolls on a set of 14-inch steel wheels, which are attached to MacPherson struts in the front, and leaf springs in the rear for maximum load-bearing capability. The vehicle features front ventilated disc brakes and rear drums for ample performance. 

 The truck comes with an AM/FM radio with AUX connectivity. and most other features are simple, with manual windows, a fan for the cabin, and a utilitarian instrument cluster. The cabin also gets a 12-volt socket to power electronic devices. 

As a single cab, the vehicle features two doors and a long rear to accommodate any box or bed the consumer might need. Consumers can also opt to have the truck with a completed body right out of the dealer, with drop side and aluminum box variants on offer. 

The interior of the Changan Star Truck is clad in black fabric and comes with a tilting steering wheel for added driver comfort. Since it is a two-seater, the driver sits separate from the passenger, allowing for separate seat adjustability.
