Kaicene Honor S Overview
The Changan Honor S is a small MPV that seats up to 8 passengers at once. It marks the brand's entry into the segment and does so at a very attractive price tag. It's one of the newest MPVs to have entered the Philippines in 2019, along with the introduction of the Changan brand.
The Honor S features a standard MPV styling that's more utilitarian rather than aesthetically appealing. As a deviation from normal MPVs, the Honor S has sliding rear doors for easier ingress and egress. The 7-seater variant of the Honor S has two captain's seats at the second row, upholstered in black leather. Standard across the range is the 10-inch touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth.
The Changan Honor S is powered by a 1.5-Liter VVT-i gasoline engine that produces 104 hp and 145 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The small MPV was launched in the year 2019 alongside Changan's commercial vehicle, the Star Truck. The launch announced the brand's presence in the Philippines as a cost-effective choice for the price-conscious consumer.
- Platform, Chassis and Powertrain

A 5-speed manual transmission comes mated to a 1.5L engine with an output of 103 hp with 145 Nm of torque. The gasoline motor is Euro V certified and has a total fuel tank capacity of 42 liters.
The Honor rides on a set of 14-inch alloys and has a disc and drum brake combo. The small MPV also has a McPherson strut in the front and a leaf spring suspension at the back.

The technology inside the Changan Honor S is apt for its price point, if not a little better than expected. One of the headlining features on offer is the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that outputs to 4 speakers. The screen is quite large for the size of the vehicle, and a set of rear parking sensors and reverse camera come standard with the package.

The headlamps are a halogen projector set with manual leveling functions. Complementing the array is a set of front and rear foglamps. Also differentiating the Honor from the rest of its small-MPV brethren is the dual sliding door that is reminiscent of mini- and full-size vans.

The Changan Honor S comes with a 7-seat layout clad in black fabric. Also, a differentiator in its segment is the 2-2-3 seat configuration, where the middle row has captain's seats.
- Safety

Dual airbags for the driver and passenger are present in the vehicle. Also for safety is an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD). Peace of mind can also be had thanks to the burglar alarm and immobilizer system. As a family-oriented vehicle, a child-lock system, as well as a set of ISOFIX anchors found in the second row help keep younger individuals seated and safe.

Excellent and Practical choice for every Pilipino that want a car that can deliver the daily travel needs whether be a Family vacation or for Business travel. In Honor S, you will get the true value of your hard earn pennies. Very easy to handle, light and smooth handling and the ride comfort will be gain if it is loaded. Fuel efficiency is average for 7seater car, i got 12.5 to 13 km per liter in mixed road condition (aircon on) with rough road. Very ice cold aircon even in low setting. Spare parts is available in casa and in our club, we have partner shop here in the Philippines and in online from China so you don't need to worry about the parts, we are already in 2022 and those who live in 90's with bad mentality about China made car is no longer applicable today.
