The updated version of the C-Class has come a long way indeed. Classy in design and performance, yet is very well at-home with our fellow Filipino car fans, this car mixes design elegance and down-to-Earth aura like a freshly-brewed and well-crafted hot cup of “kapeng barako” latte. Sporting an exterior look that instinctively suggests a kinetic look, even on a stand still, the new C-Class veers away from the usual default status of a Benze being an executive-only car. Easing itself in to the lively and more Pinoy-friendly persona of a sports sedan, the new C-Class looks to appeal the younger generation, and that’s just for starters. Interior space was noticeably increased, and with premium materials giving everyone a comfy ride, C is for comfort, that’s for sure. Tech-savvies are in for a treat, as the C-Class comes loaded with features that would make any mobile-tech fans gleam with excitement. COMAND Online, anyone? Under the hood is a beefy 1.5L inline turbocharged 4-cylinder paired with a 48V hybrid system that is fused to a 9G-Tronic Plus 9-Speed AT, firing out 170hp at 5500rpm, and pulling away with a 250nm of torque at 1800rpm to 4000rpm. Hold on, as the C-Class can sprint up to 231kph maximum speed.
