Mercedes-Benz EQS 2024

Mercedes-Benz rolled out the EQS to be among the top ones in electric luxury cars, with the goal of being innovative in the electric vehicle category, especially with the growing interest in its top-notch features and eye-catching design. The SUV version came along to offer something for those who want more space and usefulness of an SUV without losing any of the style and power that Mercedes is famous for. Both versions show how Mercedes-Benz is always giving luxurious, environmentally friendly cars.

Both the EQS and EQS SUV are built on Mercedes-Benz's electric vehicle structure which allows for a very low center of gravity and ample interior space. It features a rear axle steering that adds to a smaller turning circle, improving its maneuverability. The SUV version is also equipped with this technology but adds the AIRMATIC suspension system, which adjusts the damping force on each wheel to fit the driving situation. Both versions are powered by an electric engine delivering 265 kW (360 hp) and 800 Nm of torque, providing a top speed of 210 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds.

The EQS features the MBUX Hyperscreen, a large, curved screen unit that extends almost the entire width of the dashboard, defining the center of the car’s digital interior. It includes features like navigation with augmented reality and biometric authentication. The SUV version shares these features and adds off-road driving modes, bringing to mind its dual capability to manage rough roads while still giving a luxury experience.

On the outside, the EQS comes with a sleek, one-bow design with a coupe-like silhouette, improving its aerodynamic efficiency. It comes with Digital Light headlamps that adapt the light distribution depending on the driving conditions. The SUV version maintains these exterior elements but adds features like larger, 22-inch wheels and a more defined and noticeable roofline to accommodate greater interior space.

Inside the EQS, you will be welcomed with features like climatized front seats, active ambient lighting, and a Burmester 3D surround sound system. The SUV version develops on this luxury, offering similar features but with more space, particularly with additional seating configurations and comfort for all passengers, no matter where they sit.
