Mercedes-Benz GLA Overview
Lined to capture the younger generation, the all-new GLA crossover boasts classy and active look from inside and out. Its high ground clearance, side door streamers, 17-inch alloy rims, and front and rear chrome underguards accurately fits the urban lifestyle. It comes complete with day-time running lights (DRL), as well as a new light color, Jupiter Red. The sporty exterior is not left alone, as the German automaker blessed the car with Artico man-made leather plus red stitchings as accents. For entertainment, an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible 8-inch high-definition multimedia display sits atop the dashboard. The GLA also has its cabin space utilized with its foldable rear seats and under load compartment floor. Power for this German crossover is supplied by a range of gasoline and diesel engines. A 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter options for the gasoline provides an output range of 122 hp to 381 hp under 200 Nm to 475 Nm of torque. Meanwhile a 1.5-liter and 2.2-liter diesel powertrain for more fuel efficiency generates 109 hp to 177 hp and 260 Nm to 350 Nm of torque. All these engines are mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch (DCT) transmission. Additionally, a 4MATIC all-wheel drivetrain is also available for both the gasoline and the diesel engines. It also has the Dynamic Select feature, which lets you switch to and from Eco, Comfort, and Sports settings.
