Volvo XC90 Overview
The all-new XC90 is a 7-seat SUV that offers premium quality, world leading safety features, and new powertrain options. It's Volvo's first model to feature the brand's new design direction and range of technologies, which includes the T-shaped daytime running lights and more prominent iron mark on the grille. The interior combines the finest materials such as Nappa leather and wood with handcrafted details. Adding to the luxurious feel are the glass gear lever and diamond-cut controls for the start/stop button and volume control. But the XC90's most striking features is tablet-like touch screen system on the center console for the new in-car control system. There is also a 19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system with a 1,400W amplifier. Engine options are a D5 4-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine and a T5 4-cylinder supercharged and turbocharged gasoline engine. The diesel unit has 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque while the new gasoline powerplant puts out 320 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Both versions have all wheel drive and are equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Like other models in Volvo's line up, the XC90 is also packed with safety features such as City Safety and Adaptive Cruise Control. What's new though are the Run-off Road Protection Package, Auto Brake at Intersection Capability, 360 deg. Surround View, and Park Assist Pilot.
