Volvo S90 Overview
Volvo's presence in the midsize luxury sedan segment is being led by the S90, a combination of Scandinavian design, advanced safety technology, and cloud-based features. The design boasts Swedish high standards supported by the 2015 Production Car Design of the Year award. The front fascia is a proud statement of Volvo's design language. It's got the slim headlights with the T-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRL). The grille with vertical slats finely houses the Volvo emblem and sash, a signature of the Swedish car manufacturer. If you're familiar with the XC90, you may notice that the S90 is based on the same Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) found on the said midsize luxury crossover SUV. More XC90-familiar features are find inside, which include the Sensus Connect touchscreen. With this said, the S90 achieved a clutter-free center console, which is considered to be a nightmare for some vehicle owners. The dashboard uses minimal buttons and focuses the driver more on the driving aspects of the vehicle. Locally, the S90 is marketed with a sole variant. The D4 variant is powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine. Paired to an eight-speed Geartronic automatic engine, the mill can produce 181 hp and 400 Nm.
