BMW Z4 Overview
The BMW Z4 marks the brand’s next-generation roadster offering. It keeps the formula traditional with a front engine, rear-wheel drive layout with 50-50 weight distribution. To top it all off, it’s a roadster with a soft top that allows for open-air driving pleasure. It is undeniable that the all-new Z4’s proportions are similar to the Toyota Supra, but that’s not as apparent because of the subdued nature of its exterior. It is undoubtedly German in its execution. Straight forward and direct, the roadster is designed to excite in style from the exterior all the way down to the BMW interior. The roadster comes with two engine options, a turbocharged 2.0L engine that produces 197 hp and 320 Nm of torque or if that’s not enough, adding two cylinders might do the job as the 3.0L six-cylinder turbocharged motor produces 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The top of the line model comes with the venerable M badge that is supplemented by chassis stiffening components, a set of M Sport brakes, as well as an M chassis and adaptive suspension. Inside you get a massive 12.3-inch infotainment screen with a digital driving display which is complemented by the all-digital gauge cluster and heads up display, allowing the driver a seamless experience behind the wheel.
