Mercedes-Benz A-Class Overview
A hatchback that’s nothing short of exciting, the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class Saloon boasts an entirely new vibe that elevates the German automaker’s rep to new heights. Perfectly suited to the modern and young Filipino driving enthusiasts, the A-Class Saloon’s “Performance 4Door Hot Hatch” design inspires speed, agility, and pure driving fun. Exterior side linings glide from front to rear, creating a wind impression. A true chick magnet, the A-Class saloon not only looks awesomely aggressive outside, but when you hop in, things will become just as exciting. Premium leather seats come standard, as well as ergonomically placed amenities like the LCD screen, and online/audio controls. Thrusting the A-Class Saloon to triple-digit speeds are an array of petrol and diesel engines. Petrol models come with either a 1.6L or a 2.0L inline 4-Cylinder, while the diesels sport either a 1.5L, 1.8L, or a 2.1L inline 4-Cylinder CDi, all of which come with a choice of either a 6-Speed MT, 6-Speed MT with Longer Gear Ratios, a 7-Speed DCT, or an AMG 7-SpeedShift DCT which give the term “short shift” a much-felt meaning. For the young Filipino car nut, the A-Class Saloon is A-head of its class indeed.
