Higher up the VinFast stable is the VF 7, a compact crossover that oozes style powered by an electric heart. Available in two variants, the VF 7 S and VF 7 Plus, the VF 7 comes with either a single-electric motor or a dual-electric motor setup.
The VF 7 S features a single electric motor generating 174 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery, it offers an estimated range of 450 km according to the NEDC cycle. Meanwhile, the VF 7 Plus boasts a dual motor configuration and a larger 75.3 kWh battery, delivering 349 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
Inside, the VF 7 has a sporty and minimalistic interior with a party-piece being the button-styled shifter located in the center stack. The seats and other high-touch areas are upholstered in either leatherette or vegan leather depending on the variant you choose.

The VF 7, alongside its other stablemates the VF 5, VF9, and VF e34 made their official launch in the Philippines on May 31, 2024. The launch also marked the official arrival of VinFast in the Philippine market.
Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
Starting off with size, the VF 7 is a compact battery-electric crossover that measures 4,545 mm long, 1,890 mm wide, and 1,635.75 mm tall with a 2,840 mm long wheelbase. The VF 7 comes with a choice of two electric motor configurations for each variant.
The lineup starts with the VF 7 S. This variant is powered by a single electric motor that produces 174 hp and 250 Nm of torque. With its 59.6 kWh battery, it achieves an estimated range of 450 km based on the NEDC cycle.
Next is the VF 7 Plus which features a dual motor setup and a larger 75.3 kWh battery, providing 349 hp and 500 Nm of torque. According to VinFast, this variant can sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 175 km/h. Furthermore, VinFast claims the battery pack of the VF 7 Plus can net a driving range of 520 km.

The VF 7 comes with a large 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard. Both cars also come equipped with eight-way power adjust seats, smart keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
In terms of safety, the VF 7 has dual front, side, and curtain airbags. In addition, the VF 7 also has a blind-spot monitor, rear parking sensors, stability control, hill-start assist, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and ISOFIX anchors as standard.
As for the VF 7 Plus, this variant gets a driver’s knee airbag, a lane-departure warning system, a collision mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, and active park assist on top of the standard features.

The VinFast VF 7 boasts a sleek and modern exterior design that commands attention on the road. Its bold front fascia is characterized by sharp LED headlights and a distinctive V-shaped grille, seamlessly blending sophistication with a touch of aggressiveness. The aerodynamic lines and sculpted body panels contribute to its sporty appearance, while the dynamic silhouette, accentuated by stylish alloy wheels, a long, sleek hood, and a streamlined roofline, emphasizes its futuristic appeal. The rear end features elegant taillights and a subtle spoiler, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.
Interior
Inside, the VinFast VF 7 offers a spacious cabin that prioritizes comfort and convenience. Premium materials, such as soft-touch surfaces and leather upholstery, create an inviting atmosphere. The ergonomic design of the seats ensures optimal support for long journeys, while the intuitive layout of the dashboard puts all essential controls within easy reach.
VinFast has also added a bit of its style in the interior, foregoing the traditional lever shifter or the more modern rotary dial and instead placing the shifter as a set of buttons on the center stack. Overall, the VinFast VF 7 carries a unique style that can be felt from the outside all the way to the interior.
Safety
